Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU), formerly known as Garhwal University, is a central university located in Srinagar, Uttarakhand, India. Established in 1973, the university is named after Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna, a former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. HNBGU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines, including arts, humanities, social sciences, science, technology, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, law, education, and management.
