A Neuroscientist is a scientist who has specialised
knowledge in the field of neuroscience, the branch of biology that deals with
the physiology, biochemistry, anatomy and molecular biology of neurons and
neural circuits and especially their association with behaviour and learning.
Neuroscientists study the cellular, functional, behavioural,
evolutionary, computational, molecular, cellular, and medical aspects of the
nervous system. There are various fields that focus on different aspects, but
they often overlap. Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary science that works
closely with other disciplines, such as mathematics, linguistics, engineering,
computer science, chemistry, philosophy, psychology, and medicine.
