Mining Engineers give support to and manage mining operations, evaluate mining projects, design mines and assist with mining equipment selection. They are commonly hired by mining companies to work full-time shifts usually during daytime business hours. Mining Engineers eventually report to mining managers and work independently with minimal direction, but also work within a teamwork dynamic.
