Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering & Technology, [SSIET] Bhilai is run by the Vedmata Gayatri Shikshan Samiti which is the sister of the society called the Samiti of Shri Gangajali Education Society. It was established in 2009. The Institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, [CSVTU] Bhilai. The Institute has a state of the art infrastructure which includes impeccable hostels for both boys and girls. The Institute also offers placements and internship opportunities to its students.
