National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, was established in 1963 and is an Institute of National Importance. It is one of the 31 NITs set up by the Government of India to provide students with best-in-class technical education. The Institute has been ranked 27 for Engineering by The Week 2020 and 40 for NITs by NIRF 2020. NIT Kurukshetra admission 2021 is basically an entranced based institute. Various kind of national level entrance tests is used for the selection process like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, etc.
