Gwalior Engineering College under the aegis of Mahatma Dhule Shiksha Evam Samaj Kalyan Samiti, was basis, be it Govt. College, aided by the Govt. or a self-financed one. The Chairman of the Samiti Dr. Dwarka Prasad Sharma had the vision of seeing the state of Madhya Pradesh on the global map of Technological Excellence. And to make his dream come true he chose the noble path of imparting Technical Education to the students from across the nation in general and from the state established in the year 2003. That was the era when All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had the vision of establishing sufficient number of Engineering Colleges at PAN India of M.P. in particular.
