Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University was established on 19th December 2011 through Madhya Pradesh Act No. 34, 2011. This Act is deemed to have come into force with effect from 21st December 2011. The main objective of the University is to make Hindi language the medium of instruction for teaching, training, for the growth and dissemination of knowledge and for higher level exploration in science, literature, art and other disciplines.
