About

National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP), conducted every year since 1987, has become the most 'visible' activity of IAPT. It is a voluntary examination. More than 2,00,000 students at about 1,500 centres appeared in this examination. A number of them are in towns and villages also. The participation, purely voluntary, offers an opportunity to measure one's standing against a national standard.T he NSEP is carried out in English, Hindi & a few other Indian languages.

Gender:	Anyone can apply
Eligibility:	Must be eligible to hold an Indian passport. Date of birth between July 1, 2001 and June 30, 2006, both days inclusive. Must not have passed class XII board examination or equivalent earlier than November 30, 2021.

Awards and Prizes
Reward	i) Report card will be generated to all the candidates above (MAS) and can be downloaded by the enrolled students. ii) Certificates are given to 'top 10%' students of every centre. iii) Merit Certificates are awarded to 'top 1%' students in each state, in each subject. vi) Gold Medals are awarded to the students attending OCSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy & Junior Science. v) Special Merit Certificates and Prize (book) will be Awarded to National top 1% students Physics, Astronomy & Junior Science.
