The NSEB is also known as National Standard Examination in Biology. It is an examination for higher secondary school-level Biology. The examination is organized by the Association of Teachers in Biological Sciences who commit to the responsibilities of the organizing committee. It is conducted in association with the IAPT or the Indian Association of Physics Teachers and the HBCSE, that is, Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education. The NSEB Examination is a part of the NSE (National Standard Examination) that organizes the national science Olympiads to encourage students and give them a platform to enter into the international Olympiads.
