Sound engineering technicians, also known as audio engineers, are responsible for the technical aspects of audio recordings and live performances. They set up and operate audio equipment, ensure that microphones work properly, and monitor and adjust the sound during a performance or event. They may also record and synchronize sound, and they may even work the lights.
