An international relations professional is a person who works in the field of international relations. They may work in the government, in the private sector, or in academia. Their work may involve diplomacy, trade, development, or security. International relations professionals typically have a strong understanding of international relations theory and practice. They also have strong research, writing, and communication skills. They are able to think critically and analyze complex issues. They are also able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
