    About Campus

    Kiel University is an open research university that was established in 1665. It is known to be the first university in Germany to process the Nazi system created by Adolf Hitler. Also, the university is the 2nd largest university in the country. It is a member of the German Universities Excellence Initiative since 2006. The university is named after Christian Albert who was a bishop of Lubeck. The university offers an undergraduate degree program and a postgraduate degree program. The academic structure of the university includes a variety of courses to choose from. Students have a wide scope to choose as per their interest. Each department is guided under an experienced faculty member. They also take the students for industrial visits so that they gain ample knowledge about the subject. Some of the well-known faculties are the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics, Faculty of Agricultural Science, Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
