Siliguri College of Commerce was established in 1962, with the primary objective to impart education in Commerce and Accounting in the evening session (shift) primarily to enable the working students to continue their studies. This was also a welcome step for those younger aspirants to continue their studies at Night after involvement in business activities in the day time. The dedicated students of ICAI (Chartered Accountant) found this as ideal platform to carry on with their academics.
