S.B.S. Government College, Hili (S.B.S. stands for Subal Chandra Bimala Sundari ) is situated in border area of Hili (an international border with Bangladesh) in the district Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal. This is the first higher educational institution in the entire block. The college runs full- fledged programmes in humanities like History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Bengali and English with Honours and General courses and Zoology (Hon). The college will get new stream and subjects in coming years step by step to cater the best education. Although it is located at very remote area, The College is well connected by the road transportation from Balurghat to Hili and Patiram to Hili.
