Sarsuna college was established on 11th October in the year 1999. This West Bengal Government Aided college was initially started in the Sarsuna School premises. Later it was shifted to the newly constructed building in Sarsuna Upanagari. The college is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and is approved by UGC. Sarsuna College is also accredited by NAAC with Grade B in the year 2016. The building of the college is four storied, consisting of classrooms, laboratories, Library, Seminar Hall etc.
