S K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science and Commerce came into existence in 1995 under the aegis of Somaiya Vidhyavihar. The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and recognised by the Government of Maharashtra. Accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade, the college was ranked 47 for Arts, 49 for Private Science and 60 for Commerce by India Today in 2020.
