Republic Polytechnic (RP), founded in August 2002, is the pioneer in incorporating problem-based learning technique for all its courses. The first campus was in Tanglin which permanently moved to Woodland in March 2006. Republic Polytechnic has seven schools, namely the School of Engineering, School of Hospitality, School of InfoComm, School of Management and Communication, School of Sports, Health and Leisure, and School of Technology for the Arts. The college also offers a diploma plus programme in fields like Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Business and mathematics as an additional certificate to gain a competitive edge.
