Raipur Block Mahavidyalaya , established in 2010, is the general degree college in Kharigerya, Raipur, Bankura district. It offers undergraduate courses in arts. It is affiliated to Bankura University. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[1] Total area donated at that time is 10.38 acre (7.92 acre in Kharigeria Mouza and 2.46 acre in Belpahari Mouza). As per approval of the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal and kind recommendations of West Bengal College Service Commission, 7(seven) Assistant Professors recruited in 7(seven) subjects throughout the year 2014-2015.
