The College made a modest beginning at Lalbagh near University campus in Darbhanga in the year 1958 offering Intermediate (Arts) programme. Thereafter, it made rapid growth both in size and stature. Presently, college campus is spread over nine acres of land in lush green surroundings with extensive play grounds and open spaces. College has more than 24 full time distinguished faculty, 12 Guest Faculty and two Part Time Teachers with good number of non-teaching staff.
