Mount Tiyi College is the only government higher learning institution in Wokha district of Nagaland. The college was established on 16 August 1974. The institution is AAA (Academic Administrative Audit) assessed by the Directorate of Higher Education Nagaland, with B+ grading, and is NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) assessed with Grade C score. The college is a co-educational institution and offers Degree level courses in Arts.
