Maharaj Vinayak Global University, Jaipur (MVGU) came into existence vide Maharaj Vinayak Global University, Jaipur Act (Act No. 6 of 2012) passed by the Rajasthan state Assembly. It is self financed private university promoted by the Maharaj Vinayak Society. The University operates under the guidance of Chairperson Shri K. L. Mina, IAS (Retd.). The University is approved by UGC under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act 1956.
