Madhusudan Hore Mahavidyalaya, established in 2011, is general degree college in Nishiganj. It is in Cooch Behar district. It offers undergraduate courses in arts. It is affiliated to Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. The society with the help of the local people performed various activity like pursuing higher authority, fund collection, road blockage etc to establish this college. After a long struggle and fighting the society achieved success and got Govt. approval to established this college. The foundation stone of the present college building at college ground was laid by respected Goutam Deb Hon’ble Minister of Department of North Bengal Development, Govt. of West Bengal on 02.11.2012.
