    Ludwig Maximilian University is a premier research University in Germany. The main objective of this University is to maintain the highest standards of education in research and teaching since its establishment in 1472.Times Higher Education has ranked the University 32 among the World Universities. It has also maintained a rank of 63 according to the QS Global World Rankings, 2021. The total number of students in this University is 51,600. Among them, only 15 % of the University’s students are International students. There are around 18 Faculties of the University that offer courses in English and German languages. This University is offering more than 300 degree programs in various subjects. Along with this, the University is also offering 27 Master’s degree programs which are taught exclusively in English. While this University does not demand any tuition fees from its students, students are required to pay a tuition fee of 100 EUR if the duration of the semester is less than 5 hours per week. Along with this, if the student avails the Private Housing then the tuition fee ranges between 400 - 650 EUR and for University Housing it varies between 270- 350 EUR. Admissions at the LMU is conducted in Summer and Winter sessions.
