govt. motilal vigyan mahavidyalaya (m.v.m) bhopal situated on the southern banks of the lower lake is one of the prestigious and premier institutions in the capital city of madhya pradesh. the institution came into existence after a faculty based segregation from hamidia college, which was at that time, in 1956, the only government institution for higher learning. the institution is honored to be named after the renowned advocate, statesman and freedom fighter late shri motilal nehru.
