Government College, Dera Bassi successfully completed the process of NAAC accreditation in February, 2016 with B grade, which was a major achievement for the rural-based college. The Peer Team's assessment report gave suggestions for the further improvement of the college. The IQAC was established in March, 2004. Ever since, it has been functioning as the steering committee for overall academic and co-curricular activities and quality enhancement.
