    Charles Sturt University (CSU) is a public institution which is situated in New South Wales in Australia. Founded in the year 1989, the university was named in honor of a British explorer, Captain Charles Sturt. It was established from the unification of many existing Colleges of Advanced Education ( but separately administered) that include Bathurst's Mitchell College of Advanced Education in Bathurst, Albury-Wodonga's Riverina-Murray Institute of Higher Education and Wagga Wagga's Riverina College of Advanced Education.
