Bagnan College is a non-government Grant in-aid College affiliated to the University of Calcutta (C.U). It was established in July 1958 and recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) right from the beginning. The college campus is situated at Khalore villege, under Bagnan police station, in the Howrah district bordering the East Midnapure district (earlier Midnapure district).
