B. J. Medical College is a public medical college located in Pune, Maharashtra. It was established in 1871 by Byramjee Jeejeebhoy, a Parsi philanthropist. It is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD, MS, DM) medical programs. B. J. Medical College is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical colleges in India. The college has a strong academic reputation and has produced many notable alumni, including Dr. B. C. Roy, the first Indian recipient of the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
